Planning a weekly menu is something I've done since the second week I was married, and I have to say I'm a huge fan. Even with just two of us, I was able to save a lot of time and money and stress by planning out the meals and making sure all the ingredients were in the house before 5:30 PM. I know many people swear by the monthly menu plan, but I really can't quite wrap my head around it. If you are a faithful menu maker, hopefully I can offer some fresh ideas for you, but if you're the type that's a 5:30 planner, maybe this will make it easier for you to whip together a menu last minute. :) Here's the dinners for this week...maybe if you can convince me sometime I will post the breakfasts and lunches and snacks too.
Monday: Ropa Vieja, Brown Rice, Steamed Carrots
Tuesday: Split Pea Soup, WW bread
Wednesday: Cheeseburger Pizza, Broiled Cabbage
Thursday: Lentil Stew, WW bread
Friday: Date Night
Saturday: Dinner with Friends
Sunday: Roasted Thyme Chicken, Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts
